The room i had was noisy (it was facing the street) and felt a bit run down. the shower holder was broken, and despite reporting it, it wasn't fixed. the bed was also not great. It was hard and noisy.

the location was very convenient , being so close to the duomo. my single room offered comfortable space. the staff were helpful and cute each morning. the breakfast provided a satisfactory start to each day.
i found the necessity of leaving the room key at reception inconvenient. it required an extra step each time i left and returned. this process added a small delay.

the location was really central to most landmarks. it was only about a fifteen-minute walk to the main station. the reception was staffed twenty-four hours a day and this made it easy to come and go. the lovely woman organizing breakfast was especially friendly.
the shower didn't work the first night of my stay. this issue was rectified by the second night. i was not offered any compensation for this inconvenience! my room looked out onto a pokey courtyard, and it smelled of cigarette smoke, or a bad drain smell.
